Elizabeth said that designers need to know the right fabric of different garment styles.

“Sketching is very important for designers to learn because all these leads to making new patterns and skill work in designing standard garments.

“We want to help out women who have the passion in fashion and design to improve their understanding of creating standard garments,” she said.

San Isidro school – life skill teacher, Margaret Ann Laloga who also has a hearing impairment said that she is very happy to have attended the workshop.

“This is my first time to have attended a fashion technical sketch workshop and my purpose to come is to learn more new things here especially in designing skills as a life skill teacher,” she said.

Margaret said she now understood how to choose the right fabric to sew different styles of garments.
